School project
School building in Kigali / Kigese
High-quality education facilities for disadvantaged children and young people in Kigali.
About the project
The need for high-quality education facilities in Kigali is immense. Many children and young people are excluded from education due to limited capacity and inadequate infrastructure. This project addresses that need and improves education quality sustainably.
The school building project was initiated by TFC-Rwanda in Kigali's Kigese neighbourhood, where many children grow up in particularly poor conditions. In 2023 a modern school was built for about 400 pupils with 20 teachers. It comprises 12 classrooms, 3 offices and an assembly hall.

Target group
